A separate cool water faucet in the kitchen will provide drinking water. Awnings and trellises surrounding the home will be designed to reduce wind and provide summer shade. Warm air in winter and cool night air will be directed under the floor for radiant heat and to assist cooling in warm seasons. Thermal storage will be assisted by the 4" slab and 4 " deep wood floor. An optional pellet stove in the sun room will provide backup heat when needed.
